Richard Middlebrook Elected to the California DUI Lawyers Association Board of Directors

On August 12, 2021, the members of the California DUI Lawyers Association (CDLA) elected Richard Middlebrook to its Board of Directors.

CDLA is a non-profit organization with over 400 members. Collectively their members represent thousands of citizens accused of driving under the influence and related offenses each year and are committed to zealously defending their clients. CDLA is dedicated to assisting its members to ensure that accused of driving under the influence crimes are justly treated. CDLA sponsors Continuing Legal Education seminars pertaining to DUI related matters throughout California. They also have assisted the courts through Amicus Curiae briefs in all state and federal court levels including the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Middlebrook has been practicing in the State of California in the area of Driving Under the Influence for nearly 30 years and is considered to be one of the preeminent lawyers in the State in that area. In addition to being a Specialist Member of the California DUI Lawyer's Association, he is a Founding Member and First Vice-President of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association (National), a Sustaining Member of the National College of DUI Defense (National), and holds memberships in both the American Chemical Society and the American Academy of Forensic Science. He has been awarded his ACS-CHAL Lawyer-Scientist Designation after completing hundreds of hours of hands-on study in forensic science.

As the Founding Partner of Middlebrook & Associates, Mr. Middlebrook and the entire firm continues to exclusively represent individuals charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and their related offenses throughout the State.
